The equipment was found in a field off Stubbing House Lane and had been there for about 10 days, Lib Dem adviser Mike Levery said.
Cllr Levery said: “Stubbing House Lane is between Fox Hill and Oughtibridge Lane, it is a quiet lane and a hot spot for flies.
“It’s terrible, just terrible. I have no idea who’s behind it but it’s pretty typical – police activity means they are approaching some of these cannabis farms. be thrown in a hurry. “
Along with Councilor Alan Hooper, Cllr Levery moved the trash to the side of the road on Saturday so it could be collected and disposed of.
He added, “Amey knows where the hotspots are, but if it’s not by the roadside, it’s not in their contract to get them back.
“We are trying to rectify this, but it is a long way.”
