The parents of a little boy who died this morning after an alleged gas explosion in Lancashire have paid tribute to their “beautiful little angel”.
the explosion in Heysham caused the collapse of two houses and damaged several others, including one significantly.
Lancashire Police said the boy, named George Arthur Hinds, aged two years and 10 months, died as a result of the incident.

George’s parents, Vicky Studholme and Stephen Hinds, were also injured, but not seriously.
In a tribute, they said: “We are devastated by the loss of our beautiful George.
“He was so precious to us. We have no words to describe how we feel and we just want time for ourselves to understand what happened. Our beautiful little angel has grown her wings today. hui. “
