Jaguar added a new R-Dynamic Black Edition trim to the E-Pace range, with modifications to the exterior design of the small SUV and improved connectivity.
The R-Dynamic Black Edition starts from £ 40,945 and is based on the R-Dynamic S version. It receives a black Jaguar badge and gloss black finish on its side vents, mirror caps, front bumper. and its front grille.
The E-Pace also gains a new exterior paint color, Ostuni White, as well as Satin Gray. 19 inch alloy rims, red brake calipers, privacy glass and panoramic roof.
“The new R-Dynamic Black Edition enhances the dynamic design and visual appeal of the compact SUV with a bespoke choice of exterior elements,” said Jaguar.
Inside, an 11.4-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard (instead of 10) and Jaguar promises greater levels of refinement, comfort and technology.
The British company has also increased connectivity levels, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless coming soon as standard or via an over-the-air software update for models equipped with the Pivi Pro infotainment system.
The R-Dynamic Black Edition is available with a choice of 2.0-liter gasoline-electric plug-in hybrid (PHEV) and mild hybrid (MHEV) engines. The D165 and D200 diesel and P200 gasoline engines offer nine-speed automatic transmissions and four-wheel drive.
The E-Pace got a facelift last year, with a new platform bringing MHEV and PHEV compatibility. Jaguar claimed the new fundamentals improved the handling, handling and overall refinement of the car.
