Tesco issued an emergency product recall on an item after important allergy advice was left out of the package.
The product, a Tesco private label item, is being recalled because it may contain milk.
The Tesco Free From Toffee & Vanilla Cones 4x110ml product recall was issued earlier this month.
The product recall is intended for anyone allergic to milk or intolerant to milk.
The recall reads: “We are recalling packages of Tesco Free From Toffee & Vanilla Cones 4x110ml, with an expiration date of 07/2022.
“Indeed, they may contain milk, which is not declared on the packaging.
“Lots of affected products Tesco Free From Toffee & Vanilla Cones 4x110ml, Best before end: 07/2022, Lot code: L10233L1.
“If you have an allergy or intolerance to milk, or if you are following a vegan diet, do not consume the product concerned.
“Instead, return it to a Tesco store where a full refund will be issued.”
Anyone wishing to return the product has been advised that they can take it to their nearest Tesco store for a full refund.
