Amazon leading authors to organize book launch in Eastbourne Brighton News

AUTHORS will be offering people the chance to get their novels signed this weekend.

Heather and Tony Flood of Eastbourne will be hosting a book launch together on Saturday. Heather has just released her new children’s book Mousey Mousey and the Secrets of the Witches.

The book is the third in the series, and she’ll give people a read at 1 p.m. The entire collection will be available along with Heather’s other books, which will be on sale for £ 5 each.

Heather’s Purple Mist is aimed at both older children and adults.

Former Coronation Street star Brian Capron recommended the novel.

He said, “Don’t you just love when bullies get their bounty?

“This is just the beginning of Purple Mist, a wonderful adventure story full of thrills and excesses that is literally out of this world.”

Tony will also be offering his books at a reduced price. This offer will be for his Secret Potion fantasy adventure and his crime thrillers Triple Tease and Stitch Up! – Killer or victim? There will also be his celebrity book My Life With The Stars – Sizzling Secrets Spilled.

Tony tells stories about personalities in showbiz and sports including Elvis Presley, Eric Morecambe, Joan Collins, George Best, Kylie Minogue, Muhammad Ali and many more.

The couple’s books rose to the top of Amazon’s respective categories and received accolades from fellow authors Ellie Dean and Peter James.

The launch will take place at Cafe Old Town in Star Road, Eastbourne from noon to 2 p.m. Cafe owner Chris Kelly said, “We are delighted to give our customers the chance to meet two bestselling local authors and purchase their books at specially discounted prices if they wish.

“This is our first book launch and registrations are welcome.”

The Old Town Café will offer a selection of hot and cold dishes and homemade refreshments, including fresh stews, toast, cakes, scones and salads.
