Shropshire: 14-year-old boy among four teenagers arrested for murder following death of man | UK News

Four teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man.

The four boys, one aged 14 and three aged 15, were among six people arrested in connection with an investigation into the death of a man in Shropshire.

A 42-year-old woman and a 41-year-old man were also taken into custody on suspicion of helping offenders.

West Mercia Police were called to a footpath near Stonebridge Close, Telford, around 7.20 p.m. Friday after reports that a man in his 20s had been seriously injured.

The victim was transported to hospital by ambulance but died later that evening.

Chief Inspector Helen Kinrade said: “We understand that this will be of great concern to the community.

“We want to reassure the public that the investigation is ongoing and that this is an isolated incident.”
