Teenager Charged With Murder After 16-Year-Old Boy Was Stabbed To Death Outside Luton School | UK News

A teenager has been charged with murder after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death outside a school in Luton.

Humza Hussain, 16, was found with multiple knife wounds near Challney High School for Boys in Stoneygate Road around 4 p.m. on June 8.

He was taken to hospital but pronounced dead two hours later.

A 16-year-old boy from Luton will appear in court this week for murder and possession of a bladed article.

He remains in police custody.

A second teenager arrested on suspicion of violent unrest has been released on bail.

Humza’s family said they were “extremely saddened” and “heartbroken” by his death and that “should never have happened”.

“He was a young boy with his whole life ahead of him,” they said in a statement.

“He was a beloved son, grandson and brother and this is a very sad loss for us as a family.”

Detective Inspector Iain Macpherson of Bedfordshire Police said the force is still seeking to speak to anyone with further information.

“Our hearts go out to Humza’s family at this incredibly difficult time,” he said.
