Brent Cross Town, the new 180-acre downtown regeneration project, has announced the return of its Brent Cross Town Community Fund.
Now in its third year, this grant fund, which has grown to £ 35,000, is open to small charities and community organizations with new ideas or existing projects that improve well-being and celebrate community.
Groups and initiatives based in and around West Hendon, Golders Green and Childs Hill can apply for a £ 500 to £ 5,000 share of the £ 35,000 fund from June 15 to July 15, with funds to be awarded in early August.
Those eligible to apply for the grant include community groups, charities and local branches of national charities, schools and educational organizations, nonprofits, and social enterprises.

Community organizations will be able to apply for the Brent Cross Town Community Fund through Semble’s newly launched funding platform, Action Funder.
Nick Searl, Brent Cross Town’s developer partner, Argent Related, said: “This fund is an example of our commitment to providing benefits to the local community early in our development.
“We have provided funds for some very important local projects in previous cycles and look forward to supporting brighter initiatives that celebrate the friendliness and well-being of the local community.”

Barnet Council chief Daniel Thomas added: “I am delighted to see the community fund is back for a third round. So far the fund has had a huge impact on communities in Golders Green, Childs. Hill and West Hendon, with over £ 55,000 awarded to local groups and projects. I look forward to seeing how the fund will support new initiatives that ensure our communities continue to thrive. ”

The new district will offer 6,700 housing units, workspaces for more than 25,000 people, and shops and restaurants.
A new station called Brent Cross West is also under construction on the Thameslink line.
