To date (June 18), Bedford has registered 38 new cases of the coronavirus, with a total of 15,144 people now diagnosed with the virus, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
There was one new death recorded in Bedford (482) and no new death recorded in Luton (504) or Central Bedfordshire (571).
The Bedfordshire center has 21 new Covid cases with a total of 16,845, while Luton has registered 29, with a new total of 21,627.
Meanwhile, Buckinghamshire now has 32,663 cases of Covid, Hertfordshire 79,041 and Milton Keynes 20,780 cases.
The new figures are recorded between 5 p.m. the day before and 5 p.m. and unfortunately do not include the number of patients who have recovered from Covid-19.
In the UK, the number of coronavirus cases increased from 10,476 to 4,610,893. The number of deaths increased by 11 to 127,956.
As of June 17, in the UK, 42,460,632 people had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and 30,898,467 had received their second dose.
And in Bedford, 114,799 people received the first dose of the Covid vaccine, and 78,663 received their second dose.
