A collection of new stamps in memory of the Duke of Edinburgh has been issued by Royal Mail.
The four black and white drawings show Prince Philippe, who died in April at the age of 99, at various stages of his life.
The first drawing presents a portrait of the Duke as a young man, made by the photographer Baron.
The second depicts Prince Philip in the parade of his son Prince Andrew at Dartmouth Naval College in Devon.
Another stamp shows The Duke at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
The final and most recent image is a portrait taken by photographer Terry O’Neill.
The stamps will be presented in a miniature sheet priced at £ 6.65.
Simon Thompson, Managing Director of Royal Mail, said: “Throughout his adulthood, the Duke of Edinburgh has dedicated himself to the service of this country, the Commonwealth and the many causes to which he is committed.
“For more than seven decades he has been at the center of our national life. His passing is a key moment in our history that we are marking with this series of commemorative stamps.”
The Duke was Lord High Admiral from 2011 until his death and also served in the Royal Navy during World War II.
