Love Island has been on our screens for six years now, which means there have been a lot of couples trained on the ITV dating show.

And, while many of them don’t last too long outside the villa, Love Island has given us some romantic success stories, with wedding bells ringing for some couples, as well as the crackling of little feet. .

The new series begins on Monday, June 28 when this year’s Love Island lineup is hoping Cupid has hit the mark.

Couples like Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, hugely popular 2018 winners; 2019 champions Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea and 2017 winners Amber Davies and Kem Cetinay have long separated, but there are a few love stories that are still going strong.

Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen

The couple who finished second behind Nathan and Cara in 2016 are the longest-running Love Island romance to date.

After falling in love with each other in the villa, with Alex also at the center of a controversy after a night in hiding with Miss GB Zara Holland, the couple’s relationship grew stronger once the camera has stopped rotating.

As well as living in an absolutely gorgeous house, Alex and Olivia got married in Essex in 2018, with their marriage the subject of their own TLC show Alex and Olivia Said Yes.

Guests for the day included 2017 Love Island star Gabby Allen and TOWIE’s Pete Wicks.

Alex recently shared videos of him and Olivia enjoying England vs Scotland at Wembley and the two also ran a joint modeling campaign for fashion label Exempt Society.

Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey

Speaking of Cara and Nathan. The Essex pair were favorites to win from the start in 2016 and the bookies proved to be on the spot when they triumphed in the final.

Things haven’t always been easy for Cara and Nathan. They split months after winning the series, but have now been back together for a few years and have two children, the youngest, daughter Delilah born last summer.

They tied the knot at Preston Court in Kent in June 2019.

As friends of many of the TOWIE cast, the couple have made a number of appearances on the longtime show.

Jess Shears and Dom Lever

Jess stole a tree from the villa on Love Island when she was a bombshell in 2017 and “stole” Dom from Montana.

Audiences never really liked Jess and she was dumped from the show alongside the late Mike Thalassitis, with their fellow islanders having the final say.

While Dom decided to stay after Jess was released, they “fell” with their romance outside the villa.

The couple married in 2018, and their first child arrived a year later.

Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt

Camilla became everyone’s favorite islander in 2017 after being trampled by Jonny Mitchell in the villa.

The late arrival Jamie was like a knight in shining armor to Camilla and their partnership took them all the way to second place, finishing just behind this year’s winners Amber and Kem.

Camilla and Jamie welcomed their first child together in October of last year, Camilla writing on Instagram: “Nell Sophia Jewitt, 4:32 am, Oct 27, 6lb 5oz.

“There might be a thousand new photos on my camera roll, but none of them can ever do justice to the way you’ve brightened our lives.”

There was another big moment for the couple earlier this year when Jamie asked the question. Revealing that Camilla agreed, he took to Instagram to write, “She said yes !!!. I will fail miserably if I try to describe how I am feeling right now.

“All I’ll say is I have everything I need here. I love these two more than anything. @Camillathurlow I can’t wait to call you my wife.
