Man treated for life-threatening injuries following crash near Bedford Bedford News

Police call for information following a traffic accident in Wilstead which left a man seriously injured.

A silver Hyundai and a red motorbike collided on Bedford Road at around 2:40 p.m. yesterday (Sunday).

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and reopened shortly thereafter.

The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. on Sunday July 4 at Bedford Road, Wilstead

A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are believed to be life threatening.

Sergeant Ian Manley, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Police Unit, said: ‘We are working to establish the circumstances of this incident and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.

“We would also like to hear from anyone who saw any of the vehicles prior to the incident, or who was in the area at the time and has dash camera footage.”
