World champion boxer Chris Eubank Jr paid tribute in a series of messages to his brother Sebastian Eubank, who died days before his 30th birthday.
Sebastian – a boxer and personal trainer and the third eldest child of ex-professional boxer Chris Eubank Sr – was found dead in Dubai, where he lived.
Chris Eubank Jr, who is the interim WBA middleweight champion, said the day before yesterday that he hadn’t cried since he was 12, but on Friday he “cried all day.”
He said in a series of tweets: “My brother Sebastian Eubank was a special man… a righteous man… who always put others before him.
“A man of many talents, boxing, MMA, poetry, music, coaching, cooking, the list goes on, but the most important thing for him was to help others less fortunate than him.
“I haven’t cried since I was 12… yesterday I cried all day. I’m sorry I wasn’t there to watch your back like a big brother is supposed to. I can’t. believe that you are really gone man but you will always be in my heart and mind and spirit. “
Sebastian was married to his wife Salma and had a son, Raheem, born just over a month ago.
Chris Jr has vowed to continue caring for Sebastian’s young son.
