A Premier League star has been arrested on suspicion of child sex offenses.
The 31-year-old was arrested on Friday and released on bail as police continue to investigate.
The player’s team have confirmed that he has been suspended pending a police investigation.
They added: “The club will continue to support the authorities in their investigations and will not make any further statements at this time.”
