ABBA Voyage: What we know about an ABBA tour in 2022 UK News

Rumors have been circulating this week about iconic ’70s Swedish band ABBA teasing a new album and tour dates after 39 years apart.

The creation of social media pages titled ‘ABBA Travel‘aroused the curiosity of fans and let their imaginations run wild.

On the social pages, all that reads is “Join us” and a date of September 2, 2021.

The Sun announced that ABBA Voyage will be their revolutionary new tour which will feature holograms of their youngsters themselves projected on stage.

A source told The Sun: “Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha and Anni-Frid will all be in attendance on opening night.

“And they will finally unveil their Abba-tars, which are like holograms of themselves.

“The show will feature the Abba-tars playing and speaking to the audience. It will be like stepping back in time for those watching.

“The fans should keep their hats off because it’s going to be a crazy race.”

Yesterday they announced that the performance would take place at a specially designed 3,000-seat venue in the Olympic Park in Stratford, east London. It should open next spring.

A new album is also rumored to be in the works, all being revealed on ABBA Voyage accounts on Thursday, September 2nd.

Billboards have also appeared in London further teasing the ad.

The Sun also announced that performances will be eight per week, with the launch slated for next May.
