Three roads in the Barnet area should be closed for road works UK News

Motorists could face disruption due to temporary street closures for road works in the Barnet area later this month.

Notice from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of Barnet borough hours detail the extent of the closures and any other measures that may be required during the work.

Sheaveshill Avenue NW9 is expected to be closed at its junction with Court Way for three days starting September 13 while a frame cover will be replaced.

The alternative route for motorists will be through Colindeep Lane, Court Way and vice versa.

Also on September 13, a five-day shutdown at Hartland Drive HA8 is scheduled to begin to allow a water line to return to service.

The closure will be in place between numbers 14 and 21 and drivers will be diverted via Hartlands Drive, Wolmer Gardens, Broadfields Avenue and vice versa.

Lynford Gardens HA8 is expected to be closed at its junction with Broadfields Avenue for one day on September 15 to allow for the replacement of a sewer cover.

The alternate route for this closure will be via Broadfields Avenue, Broadhurst Avenue, Windsor Avenue, Lynford Gardens and vice versa.
