Stars rally for reality TV star Nikki charity event UK News

CELEBRITIES and stars will come together to raise awareness about eating disorder charities in memory of TV star Nikki Grahame.

All proceeds from ticket sales will raise funds for SEED, the charity created by Emmerdale actress Gemma Oaten, as well as BEAT Eating Disorders.

The event will take place at the Gallery Bar and Brassiere South Woodford on September 15th.

There will be performances in the evening from S Club 7, Cheeky Girls, X Factor contestants Sam Callahan, Angie Brown, famous hypnotist Chris Hughes, famous magician Stephen Barry and DJs Wayne T and Ross Mac.

Former Big Brother star Nikki Grahame died aged 38 in April.

The TV personality was admitted to a private hospital in March with an eating disorder.

Grahame, from Northwood in North West London, appeared in Big Brother’s seventh series in 2006.

She became known for her temper tantrums, especially in the newspaper room.

The Charity Benefit Event will be hosted by Hollyoaks and Celebrity Big Brother star Paul Danan alongside Simon Gross and Charlie Doherty The evening will also include celebrities Kieran Hayler, Chrissy Rock, Steve Bear, Caprice, Ester Dee, Alex Reid, Sandi Bogle, the cast of Towie and EastEnders and other household names.

Mr Gross said: “After the year we have had with Covid and we all need to cheer ourselves up, but it was time to raise more awareness about anorexia and eating disorders.”

A spokesperson for the Beat charity added: “We are extremely grateful to Simon for choosing to support Beat.

“The past year has been incredibly difficult for many people affected by eating disorders, with demand for Beat’s services increasing by over 300%. The reunion will be a fantastic event, and every penny raised will help us continue our vital work of supporting anyone in need of help. ”

Grahame returned home in 2010 to appear on Ultimate Big Brother, the show’s final series to air on Channel 4.
