A man was found dead in a home in Wallsend, police confirmed.
Officers were called to an address in Mitford Gardens around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
The Northeast Ambulance Service was also called into the region.

Officers said the man’s closest relatives had been notified.
There would be no third party involvement in the man’s death.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: ‘At 12:40 pm today (Sunday) we received a report that a man had been found dead at an address in Mitford Gardens, Wallsend.
“The man’s closest relatives have been informed. We do not think there is any involvement of third parties and a report will be made for the coroner. “
