Two in hospital after an accident on a charity motorcycle ride in Yorkshire Yorkshire News

Organizers of the event said they will comment after the police investigation concludes.

A spokeswoman for the Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: “We received an emergency call shortly after 11.30am Sunday morning to report a collision involving two motorcycles on the A1 near Bramham.

“We dispatched two ambulances, two rapid response vehicles, the Hazardous Area Response Team and an air ambulance to the scene.

“Two patients were transferred by ground ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary.”

North Yorkshire Police have been contacted for comment.
