Peloton signs Mr Big after shock in Sex and the City reboot Business

Peloton hired the actor who played Mr Big in Sex and The City to reprise his role after his character’s exercise bike-induced death in the show’s reboot caused stocks to fall apart.

Peloton shares fell by more than a tenth on Friday after Chris Noth’s character suffered a fatal heart attack from a Peloton training session in the first episode of And just like that ….

Less than 48 hours after the show was released on HBO Max in the US, Peloton released an ad featuring Mr. Noth and Jess King, the instructor whose character had taken the course online before his death.

The ad, titled “He’s Alive,” showed Mr. Big – the love interest of Sex And The City protagonist Carrie Bradshaw – and Ms. King relaxing in front of a fire.

Indicating that he has left Ms. Bradshaw for the Peloton instructor, Mr. Big toasts “fresh starts” and suggests they “take a turn” before the camera moves to reveal the twin Peloton bikes.

A voiceover from actor Ryan Reynolds, whose production company created the ad, then said, “And just like that, the world was reminded that regular cycling stimulates and improves your heart, lungs and circulation, thus reducing your risk of cardiovascular disease. Cycling strengthens your heart muscles, lowers your resting heart rate and lowers blood fat levels, ”before concluding,“ He’s alive.
