The comedian informed fans in September that all episodes had been filmed and edited, leaving fans wondering when they could expect him to return to screens.
The show will return to the streaming service on January 14, 2022.

He also shared some preview images of the series, confirming the return of Kath, played by Diane Morgan.
Gervais has confirmed it will be the last after the series was an immediate hit with fans when it released in 2019.
The show won the award for Best Comedy at the 2021 National Television Awards.
