London Underground strike: How to avoid disruption on the Tube UK News

The strikes are expected to create “serious disruption on all metro lines” as commuters and travelers struggle to cross the capital.

Workers are encouraged to work from home today if possible by Transport for London to avoid disruption.

But for those who cannot work from home, they can use alternative means of transport, but they should be busier than usual.

How to avoid subway disruption:

Buses will all operate as normal, but with roads likely to be busy they could be delayed, meaning you may want to give yourself extra time for your journey.

For the latest and most up-to-date bus maps and timetables, you can use the TfL website or app.

If you don’t feel like getting on the bus, you can drive yourself, but be aware that you will have to pay the ULEZ fee.

You can cycle or walk to your destination today, but remember to bring good walking shoes.
