Brighton named TripAdvisor’s destination for Britain’s spring Brighton News

Online review site TripAdvisor has released its list of the top ten UK destinations to visit this spring and Brighton has made the cut.

Of course, this year we can finally leave the country to enjoy spring or summer, but TripAdvisor found that 78% opt to stay in the UK between March and May.

The list was compiled based on a TripAdvisor survey of over 5,000 consumers.

And Brighton made it ninth on the list by beating Glasgow.

Brighton has many attractive features that have helped it become the destination for spring, clubhouse, beach and bustling shopping and nightlife scene.

Full list of TripAdvisor spring destinations in the UK:

First and foremost, Brithdir in Gwynedd, Wales takes the crown thanks to its miles of fields and quiet, relaxing location.

Plus, it’s not too far from the Brecon Beacons National Park or Newport, meaning it’s perfect for those wanting to explore Wales.

Also just behind is Gwybeed in Llanberis, home to some unmissable breathtaking views and located near Snowdonia National Park.

In third place is Fulford in North Yorkshire, based near York, the spot is a small village that is the perfect destination for a break from the city and some fresh air.

Next is South Queensferry in Scotland with its fortune of historic sites, including the Abbey and the Isle of Inchcol. It is an ideal place to visit and discover in the impressive surroundings.

Appleby-in-Westmorland in Cumbria closely follows and is home to some wonderful scenes including small waterfalls and is located in the Eden district.

Manchester also takes center stage if you fancy a vibrant nightlife with an array of venues and of course a fantastic shopping scene.

Oxford takes seventh space with the region’s rich historical past and classic features, a visit to the site will take you back in time.

Next is Cambridge which is also known for its history and impressive buildings, it hosts events all year round and is even more stylish in the spring.

In ninth place is Brighton, with its sea views, cultural destinations, pier and impressive shopping scene, Brighton is the perfect place to visit.

Rounding out the list is Glasgow in tenth place, with its array of cultural attractions, riverside views, vibrant nightlife and more, Glasgow is a great place to take a trip this year.
