Appeal to Ukraine: Newsquest launches #ThereWithUkraine campaign – how to help UK News

People are dying. Families are torn apart. Cities are reduced to ashes and rubble. The Russian invasion of Ukraine is creating a humanitarian catastrophe and a refugee crisis in Europe on a scale not seen since World War II.

Vladimir Putin’s barbaric aggression against Russia’s democratic neighbor is unjustified, unacceptable, unimaginable.

We want to help. Our readers want to help. Dozens of news titles run by Newsquest across the UK are joining forces to deliver a simple message: give what we can and do what we can.

Newsquest has pledged to donate proceeds from the sales of some of its largest newspapers to the DEC Ukraine Red Cross Humanitarian Appeal, which is dedicated to helping and saving those affected by this horrific and bloody war. We ask you to join us.

We already know the generosity of our readers. Here at Newsquest, our teams of reporters across the country have reported on the heroic efforts of communities to rally around Ukraine and its people to deliver aid, supplies and financial support – even those who selflessly put themselves in the line of fire heading into the war zone with emergency supplies.

That’s why, to go along with our pledge to donate to the Red Cross appeal today, we’ve launched a JustGiving page. We are joining forces with one call for all of our news titles, allowing readers to contribute to this worthy cause if they want to join us in doing what we can to help.

Times Series: #ThereWithUkraine#ThereWithUkraine

We will also continue to shine a light on all the incredible work being done in our communities to help Ukrainians in these difficult times and we encourage you all to let us know about your efforts.

Don’t miss the ‘There with Ukraine’ poster in the newspaper, which we hope readers will display to show their support for the campaign.

All money raised will go to the British Red Cross DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. The British Red Cross is involved in humanitarian work in Ukraine, helping civilians who have been affected by the ongoing crisis.

Your donation could help someone affected get food, water, first aid, medicine, warm clothing and shelter.

All Newsquest titles across the UK are united in our efforts to support the people of Ukraine. Please give what you can via the link to our JustGiving page below.

As we are #ThereWithYou, we hope that you will be by our side and that you will be #ThereWithUkraine.
