They will start in Swansea, travel to Cardiff, London, Newcastle, Hull, Liverpool and Glasgow, before returning to Leeds, then play in Brighton, Plymouth, Bournemouth, Birmingham and Nottingham.
Special guests will be favorites from indie band The Fratellis and The Sherlocks.
One of Britain’s best-loved bands, the multi-award-winning Kaiser Chiefs promise every hit, including number one Ruby plus anthems I Predict A Riot, Oh My God, Everyday I Love You Less and Less and Never Miss A Beat.
Led by the magnetic Ricky Wilson, with Simon Rix on bass, Andrew ‘Whitey’ White on guitar, Nick ‘Peanut’ Baines on keyboards and drummer Vijay Mistry, they are thrilled to be back on the road.
Ricky said: “We haven’t done that for a long time.
“I remember one time we played at a little place in Manchester – before Education, Education, Education & War came out – and we hadn’t done a show for a while and I remember being in the bathroom, looking in the mirror and thinking, “Is this going to happen? Is it still there? Is it still within my ability to do that?” And then you go on stage and it all comes back to you.
“Simon always does the setlist. I usually do the set design. But I don’t have to do that every day, that’s the difference between me and Simon.
“It’s funny because we have a setlist, and then he’ll make the smallest change that’s met with the biggest upset from various band members,” he laughed.
Drummer Vjay, talking about how he prepares for the tour, joked that it starts with spinning his TV remote.
He said: “Well, you start small, so you have to do finger exercises – I like to pick up a remote control and then turn the channels on the TV… it gets your fingers moving! Then eight or nine months later you can make a song… And then you keep building!”

They were Mercury nominated for their debut album Employment and won three BRIT Awards, an Ivor Novello Award for Album of the Year, and have sold over eight million albums worldwide.
Glasgow trio The Fratellis released a new album and a barrage of singles and collaborations in 2021, before ending the year by winning the prestigious King Tut’s Songwriting Award at the Scottish Music Awards.
