Sussex Police officers direct traffic on Seaford Road near Crowlink Lane after the incident.
According to a motorist, a car “rolled over”, with long delays expected until crews recovered the vehicle.
An AA traffic report read: “Police directing traffic. Vehicles on the west side, traffic taking turns to pass on the opposite side.”
