An ALBION player is unlikely to continue his loan spell in Ligue 1, according to his manager.
Jensen Weir is on a season-long loan at League One side Cambridge United.
Cambridge manager Mark Bonner has said Weir is unlikely to return to the club this season due to a knee injury.
Speaking ahead of their game against AFC Wimbledon, Bonner said Weir and Greg Taylor will both miss the match.
Cambridge currently sit 17th at Wimbledon with a 12-point lead and will be aiming for a first victory in six outings.

After his transfer to Cambridge, Albion U23 head coach Andrew Crofts said: “Jensen made a very good impression last season, and this is the next step for him in terms of development.
“He is going to a club that has just been promoted to Ligue 1, so he will have the opportunity to play at a high level and develop his own game in a good environment.
“As with all our players on loan, we will follow his progress and wish him all the best for the season.”
The 20-year-old is a young England international.
