Six finalists have been revealed for the Best Electric Car award at the inaugural Move Electric Awards 2022 in partnership with OVO Energy.
Move Electric is Autocar’s new sister brand that covers all forms of electric mobility. Its first prizes will recognize the products, people and companies that are helping to transform the world of transport. The categories will feature the best two- and four-wheel electric vehicles.
The Best Electric Car award is only open to full-battery electric cars, with judges emphasizing machines that are both great to drive and own, and also advance vehicle technology electrical. The six finalists are: BMW iX, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia EV6, Polestar 2, Porsche Taycan and Skoda Enyaq IV. You can read more about why each of the finalists was selected on Move Electric.
The 2022 Move Electric Awards will also include awards for Best Electric Bike and Best Electric Motorcycle, as well as an award for Best Use of Electricity, which celebrates the diverse world of electric mobility. There will also be a series of special awards showcasing innovative companies and technology.
