Serious motorcycle accident on B2102 near Framfield – emergency services respond Brighton News

EMERGENCY services responded to a serious accident between a car and a motorcycle.

Footage from the scene of the incident on the B2102 near Framfield shows debris strewn across the road.

The road has been temporarily closed following the crash, which happened around 12.30pm on Saturday March 25.

The accident appears to have involved a car and a motorcycle.

It is not yet known if anyone was injured.

Sussex Police have been approached for comment.

A motorcyclist was injured after being hit by a car in Eastbourne on Friday.

Police say a car and a motorbike collided between Hanover Road and Whitney Road, leaving the motorcyclist with non-life-threatening injuries.

Last week, a motorcyclist died after an accident with a van.

Dan Kinsella, from Brighton, died in hospital following the crash of the A259 at Portslade on Wednesday March 16.

Despite the efforts of bystanders who performed CPR, the 25-year-old died of his injuries two days later.

A 34-year-old man from Southwick has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury and dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs over the specified limit.

He was released under investigation as investigations continue.
