Who is Andi Oliver in the BBC’s Great British Menu? UK News

The BBC’s Great British Menu is coming to an end with a team of passionate chefs battling to serve their food at a banquet.

This year’s theme is ‘100 years of great British broadcasting’ after the very first BBC radio broadcast in 1922.

This year’s banquet will take place at Alexandra Palace in London with special guests from television and radio.

The show is hosted by TV personality and chef Andi Oliver.

The judges include Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge, chef and restaurateur Nisha Katona, and comedian and Off Menu food podcast host Ed Gamble.

Who is Andi Oliver?

Andrea, also known as Andi, is a London-based chef who hosts television and radio shows.

The 58-year-old is a former member of band Rip Rig + Panic, who starred in an episode of the comedy show Young people.

She appears frequently on BBC World Service and the annual Glastonbury cover.

She has one daughter, 37-year-old TV presenter Miquita Oliver.

The two appeared in a food documentary in 2022, The Caribbean with Andi and Miquita.

​Andi Oliver started as a judge on the Great British Menu in 2017, having taken over from Prue Leith.

She then stepped down as a judge on the Christmas 2020 episode and replaced Susan Claman as presenter.

Here is the program for the week of the finals:

9 p.m. Monday, March 28 – Admissions

8 p.m. Tuesday March 29 – Fish

9 p.m. Wednesday March 30 – Sector

8 p.m. Thursday March 31 – Desserts

7:30 p.m. Friday, April 1 – The Banquet
