The news came from an online briefing from spokesman Andrew Smith who said: ‘We will be easy to find, we will be easy to reach, we will be more disruptive than ever and we will be impossible to ignore.

Adding that they expect “huge numbers from the 9” as well as “massive turnout in the streets”.

The daily protests come after the rising cost of energy and the national living wage crisis saying that “the energy crisis is really starting to affect people, and people really want us to step into a space where their voice is heard”.

However, Smith said they expect the daily protests to “feel and look very different from previous rebellions.”

Alluding at the end to the band’s controversial actions which previously included stopping public transport.

Smith said: “Each morning we will be offering non-violent direct action training, where we will encourage people to step up and be empowered to act with us and speak out against government inaction.

“In response to this, actions will have a very different feel and look to previous rebellions.

“We want to create the mass space where people can come and join us.”
