A WOMAN has been taken to hospital after crashing her car this morning.
The single-vehicle collision happened shortly after 6.30am this morning on the A24 Worthing Road near the village of Dial Post, near Horsham.
The road was closed for about an hour while emergency services responded to the incident and recovered the car.
The road reopened around 8 a.m.
The crash happened northbound on the A24 near Dial Post
A Sussex Police spokeswoman said: ‘Police were called to the A24 Worthing Road near Dial Post shortly after 6.30am on Saturday April 2 to reports of a single vehicle collision on the carriageway heading towards North.
“A woman was taken to hospital.
“The road was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to respond to the incident and arrange for the recovery of the vehicle. It has since reopened.”
