A 19-year-old was arrested following a foot chase with police.
Brighton and Hove Police praised their ‘strong runners’ after the man fled from police on Wednesday March 30.
A 19-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of sending offensive and threatening messages.
A Brighton and Hove Police spokesperson said: ‘It’s fortunate that we have some good runners in our team here in Brighton and Hove.
“A 19-year-old Brighton man was arrested on suspicion of sending offensive and threatening messages following a foot chase on March 30.
“The man is well known to police, so our officers didn’t let him slip this time.”
The man has since been released on bail pending further investigation.
