SHOCKING footage shows the aftermath of a collision in which a car left the road and hit trees.
Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the B2036 Balcombe Road between the Cowdray Arms pub and Maidenbower at around 9pm on Thursday April 7.
A Land Rover Defender was traveling west when it left the road and collided with trees, coming to rest on the lower edge.

An ambulance responded and the driver was taken to hospital, where it was confirmed that he suffered serious injuries.
