London is set to experience a mini heatwave over Easter weekend UK News

Get ready to say hello to the heat and sun and goodbye to cold, cloudy days as London welcomes a mini-heat wave.

After weeks of surprise snow and Met Office wind warnings, the end is near and at the perfect time for all four Bank Holidays.

As meteorologists predict warmer temperatures, little wind and little rain, you might want to swap the roast dinner and prepare the barbecue.

With four days of sunshine on the way and Friday and Saturday of the Easter weekend with highs of 19C.

Although the humidity may be a little high, don’t panic as there will be a very gentle breeze blowing in from the southwest.

Looking beyond Friday and Saturday, Easter Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday, you can stay excited as more sunshine is on the way.

Sunday will see highs of 17C and very little chance of rain, and it will be a long sunny day with the sun not setting until 8pm.

And for the last day of the four-day weekend, you can expect to end it on a high note with warm temperatures to continue and no wind.
