Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin makes a bold Easter weather prediction that delights viewers UK News

Laura Tobin has made a very bold and promising Easter weekend weather prediction, much to the delight of Good Morning Britain viewers.

The weather over the past month has been mixed to say the least. One minute we were all flocking to the beach and getting out the patio furniture as March reached very unusual heights for the season. But then summer conditions dipped back into winter when snow fell in various parts of the country.

Since then, temperatures have been about right for this time of year, but weathercaster Laura stuck her neck on Monday’s GMB line, predicting highs of up to 20 degrees by the weekend, just in time for the Easter bank holiday. Giving an outlook for the week, she told her ITV colleagues in the studio and those watching at home that temperatures would continue to climb over the week, starting with a peak of 18 on Monday and climbing to 20 Good Friday.

Laura, who was recently at the center of GMB’s April Fool’s Day prank, had some bad news for viewers down south, telling them “it’s bad news if you just washed your cars”, as it warned that Saharan Dust was on its way to the UK. She explained that this could see dust land on people’s cars as it moves through south-eastern parts of the UK.

She also warned of a “rather gray start to the day” and showers in the days ahead, but held firm on her promises that it should warm up as we head into the weekend. Reacting to GMB’s online video of Laura’s prediction, one Twitter user simply replied, “Yayyy,” and another replied, “Thank you sweetie.”
