Man arrested in Hove after Class A drugs seized by police Brighton News

A MAN has been arrested after drugs and a car were seized by police.

After stopping a vehicle in Hove to check the driver’s documents, officers discovered the motorist did not have a driving license or car insurance.

A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of Class A drugs.

The driver also failed a drug test, Brighton and Hove Police said.

“The vehicle was seized, and the driver was arrested for possession with intent to supply, before being taken into custody where blood samples were taken,” a police spokesman said.

“He has since been released on bail while the investigation continues.
