Morrisons is helping customers spend less by launching one of its biggest ever price reduction campaigns.
The supermarket will reduce the prices of more than 500 products and introduce new improved multiple safeguards.
Items cover cupboard essentials, fridge staples and frozen favorites and include cereals, cooking sauces, chicken and sausages. The average saving is 13%, the main volumes being eggs, baked beans and rice.

Individual items like coffee and nappies are included in the cups along with key ingredients needed for different occasions such as packed lunches or dinner parties.
White baguettes, ham, multi-packs of chips and sausage rolls have all been cut to help reduce the cost of lunches, while the price of hash, rice and red beans have all come down to make the making chili con carne cheaper.

As part of the savings campaign, Morrisons has reduced the price of a quarter of its 235 entry-level products. This includes ‘Morrisons Savers’, ‘Morrisons Wonky’ in products and ‘Morrisons Essentials’ in homewares and health and beauty.
Over 180 additional products have been included in new and improved promotions with multiple savings, including a ‘Buy 2 for £1.80’ on cereals, a ‘Buy 2 for £3’ on breaded chicken and a “Buy 2 for £5” on ready meals.
David Potts, Managing Director of Morrisons, said: “We know our customers are under real financial pressure right now and we want to play our part in helping them with the cost of groceries. These price reductions will have a noticeable, long-term impact on our customers’ budgets and demonstrate our commitment to providing them with the best possible value.
