TWO young boys were injured when they were hit by a car while riding their bicycles.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident at the junction of Norman Road and Warrior Square in St Leonards on Sunday April 17.
The two boys, aged 9 and 12, were slightly injured in the collision, which occurred at 5:35 p.m.
A driver of a VW Golf was later arrested and released under investigation, pending further investigation.
Police are now appealing for footage from the dash cam and witnesses to the crash.
Constable Stuart Kenway, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: ‘We would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened in this incident.
“Anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage in the area is also urged to come forward and report to Sussex Police online or 101, quoting reference 951 of 17/04.”
