London Underground: District and Central severely delayed UK News

Travelers face disruption this morning as five London Underground lines are delayed and disrupt morning journeys.

With District line severely delayed due to earlier power supply problem and earlier faulty train.

However, tickets are accepted on C2C, South Western Railway and local bus services.

Additionally, the Central line is also delayed due to train cancellations, but is expected to resume its regular schedule soon.

Elsewhere, the Hammersmith & City is suspended without service due to a power supply problem, but tickets are accepted on C2C and local bus services.

If you take the metropolitan line this morning, note that there is a special service until further notice.

A 30 minute service operates between Baker Street and Amersham/Chesham.

And a 15-minute service operates between Baker Street and Watford and between Aldgate and Uxbridge.

Additionally, parts of the Northern Line are suspended without service between Kennington and Battersea Power Station due to tunnel ventilation repair work.

Additionally, the line remains closed between Moorgate and Kennington as major upgrade work takes place.

But you can take the London Bus Route 733 which connects Moorgate to Oval via Bank, London Bridge, Borough, Elephant & Castle and Kennington.
