Sixth in the table as the promotion race enters its final stretch, United know they have a number of teams stretched thin and can ill afford slip-ups at this stage if they are to qualify for dams.
But midfielder Ollie Norwood has denied there is pressure on his teammates as they seek an immediate return to the Premier League.
Although Norwood admitted the stakes were high, he said: “There is no pressure on us. It’s in our hands and that’s how you want it.
“These are the situations for which you become a footballer. You don’t grow up as a kid dreaming of being mid-table and just playing a season. You dream about things like a promotion and stuff like that.
“So we want to be in exactly those types of scenarios. Other people may want to talk about pressure and this and that. We just accept it because that’s what we work hard for.
