Travelers are facing disruption this morning as a number of London Underground lines are heavily delayed.
The District Line is seriously delayed due to an earlier faulty train at Barking. Tickets are accepted on London buses, C2C and South Western Railway.
Additionally, Hammersmith and City Line are also heavily delayed due to an earlier faulty train at Barking and Moorgate, but tickets are accepted on London buses and C2C services.
Also, the Circle Line has minor delays due to an earlier faulty train at Moorgate.
Docklands Light Railway also suffered minor delays between Bank and Lewisham due to an earlier obstruction to the track at South Quay.
Additionally, TfL Rail has minor delays between Paddington and Reading/Heathrow while they correct a track fault at Paddington, but there is good service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield.
If you take the metropolitan line this morning, note that there is a special service until further notice.
A 30 minute service operates between Baker Street and Amersham/Chesham.
Additionally, a 15-minute service operates between Baker Street and Watford and between Aldgate and Uxbridge.
Additionally, parts of the Northern Line are suspended without service between Kennington and Battersea Power Station due to tunnel ventilation repair work.
Additionally, the line remains closed between Moorgate and Kennington as major upgrade work takes place.
But you can take the London Bus Route 733 which connects Moorgate to Oval via Bank, London Bridge, Borough, Elephant & Castle and Kennington.
