Andreas Weimann fired the hosts into a six-minute lead before Antoine Semenyo doubled the lead with a low shot in the 33rd minute and, two minutes later, provided the cross for Chris Martin to make it 3-0.
Martin added the third in the 54th minute before Weimann rounded off a tremendous personal campaign by brazenly scoring his 22nd goal of the season eight minutes from time.
“It was a terrible game, a terrible result and a terrible performance,” Arveladze said.
“The only positive thing came from our fans, who stayed behind the team until the final whistle, which was incredible.
“An apology to them is not enough. I can’t find the words to tell them except that we will do everything we can to win for them next week.
“We did everything our opponents wanted to help them play well. There was a slowness and softness in the way we played and we gave his players a lot of space.
