BBC’s Silent Witness returns to our screens tonight for its biting third episode.
The gritty crime drama is set in the world of forensics with a team of the nation’s best investigators and solving crimes across the country.
To mark its 25th series, Amanda Burton, the show’s main lead, returned as Professor Sam Ryan after the Health Secretary was assassinated during the launch of Sam’s new company.
The assassination prompts Sam to turn to Team Lyell for help, but Nikki isn’t sure her predecessor can be trusted.
This highly anticipated Silent Witness series was billed as one big six-part story.
The third episode introduces us to an all-new mystery with a suspicious albeit fleeting moment that hints at a slow but continuous conspiracy.
