After performing at the Isle of Wight Festival on Friday June 17, the Red Arrows took to the skies today for a flypast on Banbridge Armed Forces Day in Northern Ireland as well as the highly anticipated Duxford Air Show. From the far south to the northwest, this is the route the Red Arrows have taken and must take for today’s shows.
Formed in 1964, the Red Arrows are the Royal Airforce’s aerobatic team based at RAF Scampton.
Over time, their iconic exhibits have become must-visit events, garnering widespread attraction as the pinnacle of most major national commemorations.
It’s been another busy year for the Arrows. Entering its 58th season, this weekend is jam-packed with shows for audiences to enjoy.
Saturday will see the jets perform at two events, diving from Bournemouth to Aldergrove in Northern Ireland and then to Duxford for a flypast to complete the world-class display.

Which route will the Red Arrows take?
Coming from Bournemouth at around 11am this morning, the Red Arrows flew over the western parts of England and Wales to Aldergrove in Northern Ireland for Banbridge Armed Forces Day at 12pm.
From Aldergrove, the jets will return overseas to England from the direction of Point Lynas in North Wales at around 2.32pm before heading towards the Midlands, passing through parts of Shropshire and Worcester to reach the Costwolds at 2:57 p.m.
From Upper Oddington, the planes will fly east over Chacombe, Shillington and Therfield before reaching Duxford at 3.09pm for the flyover.
