Nearly 100 pubs and bars were recently nominated for the National Pub & Bar Awards for 2022, celebrating their successes.
In London, the Blue Boar Pub in Westminster won acclaim, winning the best pub in the area.
It was then entered into the national draw to discover the best pub in the UK, winning the best for London.
The event, which aims to showcase the UK’s best pubs and bars nationally, crowned the best venues in 94 counties across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, as well as the best national pub and bar of the year at the ceremony.
The Blue Boar Pub describes itself as a ‘comfortable and relaxed modern take on the classic London pub’, adding that at its heart ‘is real local’.
Serving a range of craft and international beers and beers, an extensive wine list and some cheeky cocktails as well as top-notch spirits.
And it looks like the National Pub and Bar Awards aren’t the only ones praising the pub, with Tripadvisor all sharing their thoughts.
One user said: “We enjoyed everything about the Blue Boar, relaxing atmosphere, great service, but above all, absolutely delicious food. A wonderful start to our visit to London!”
