The Ivy Asia announce opening date of Brighton restaurant Brighton News

A BRASSERIE chain has announced the opening date of its new restaurant in Brighton this summer.

The Ivy Asia is set to open its first Asian-inspired concept in Sussex this summer on Tuesday July 12 with online booking lines starting today.

The restaurant will be located in Ship Street and spread over two floors. It will be open seven days a week and will offer lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and weekend brunch.

It will also serve theatrical drinks and cocktails alongside a “delicious menu of tantalizing dishes”.

Upon arrival, diners will be greeted by the luminous green onyx floor, as well as a 19th century glass domed skylight above the cocktail bar.

Outfitted with colorful artwork, Asian fabrics, wallpapers, and antiques, the restaurant is designed to be an “elegant yet vibrant space.”

In addition to the main restaurant and bar, guests can also experience a sushi bar, where dishes are prepared in front of them.

The kitchen at Ivy Asia, Brighton will be overseen by Executive Chef Simon Gregory while dishes will be inspired by cuisines from the Asian continent.

The menu will include popular dishes from partner restaurants The Ivy Asia in St Paul’s and The Ivy Asia in Guildford, with highlights such as The Ivy Asia “Silver Shell”, and an extensive selection of sushi and sashimi, including yellowtail sashimi with a fresh truffle. salad, pan-fried beef tataki with three kinds of onions and three ways of salmon.

Vegetarian and plant-based options will include avocado silken tofu with lime-ginger dressing, and roasted eggplant miso and arare masago.

The menu will be accompanied by a selection of cocktails, sakes, wines, champagnes and Jing specialty Asian teas.

The cocktails will be Asian-inspired with a series of exciting flavors and colorful garnishes.
