The UK ticket holder took home the huge prize, just days after another UK winner took home £ 122million earlier this month. Andy Carter of Camelot, Senior Advisor to National Lottery Winners, confirmed tonight’s huge win.
EuroMillions Lucky Star winning numbers are: 10, 11.
Mr Carter stressed the importance of the EuroMillions prizes in helping Britons throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
He said: “National Lottery players are making a huge difference to National Lottery good causes across the country by raising, on average, around £ 30million each week.
“Thanks to National Lottery players, more than £ 1 billion has been distributed so far across the UK to help fight the impact of the coronavirus.”
EuroMillions tickets are sold in nine countries, namely UK, France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg, Republic of Ireland, Portugal and Switzerland.
Earlier this month, one lucky ticket holder in the UK took home £ 122million and entered the Sunday Times’ 1000 richest people list from 2020.
This is the fifth highest jackpot ever paid by EuroMillions.
After collecting his winnings, the winner, who tied all five EuroMillions numbers as well as both Lucky Star numbers, took home a total of £ 122,550,350.80.
The UK’s biggest ever win was £ 170million in October 2019, with the UK winner opting to remain anonymous.
