Samurai sword, knives and cannabis found in the potter’s research UK News

A samurai sword, knives and cannabis were found during a police search.

Two men were arrested during the execution of the warrant at a property in The Hollies, Potters Bar, last week, Thursday April 22.

Officers swept the area and seized cannabis, a large amount of cash and knives, as well as a samurai sword.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug and possessing an offensive weapon.

Another 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A drugs with the intention of supplying them and possessing a weapon.

Both have been released on bail by police as investigations continue.

Detective Inspector Baz Kaila of the Hertsmere Local Crime Unit said: “This warrant was executed following intelligence on suspected criminal activity taking place on the property.

“We rely on the public to share information with us so that we can take action to combat drug-related crime and ensure that Hertsmere remains a safe and pleasant place to live and work.

“There are a number of ways you can share information with us, including anonymously through the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111 or through their online form not found at crimestoppers-uk.org . ”
