Police are investigating a stabbing at a major road junction this evening.
Several police and forensic officers are currently working on the scene at Apex Corner near Mill Hill.
Metropolitan Police said they were called to the area shortly before 3 p.m. following reports of a stabbing.
Two men were found stabbed and treated by the London Ambulance Service before being taken to hospital.
The Met said one man’s injuries were found to be non-fatal and that police are currently awaiting an update on the second man’s condition.
Police added that the two men taken to hospital were arrested.
The stabbing appears to have taken place from the A1 near Apex Corner.
Officers closed Green Avenue and forensic officers were spotted investigating a patch of grass between the A1 and Green Avenue.
A police cordon remains in place this evening.
A police spokesperson said: “Police were called to Watford Way, NW7 at 2:48 p.m. on Sunday 2 May following reports of a stabbing. A second call was received shortly from time later at the neighboring green avenue.
“The officers went with the London ambulance service and found two men who had been stabbed.
“Both were taken to hospital. One man’s injuries were found to be non-fatal and we are awaiting an update on the second man’s condition.
“We think the two men knew each other. They were arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
“Investigations are ongoing, but at this early stage officers believe this to be an isolated incident and are not looking for anyone else at this point.”
